My daughter showed me a new Android app tonight during the dark car ride home. By the time we arrived I had my errand list done and planned for the one free hour I have tomorrow morning.
All you list makers and task keepers take note; this app is amazing.
Because she is one of the most organized, people I know, when my 13-year-old tells me to try something new, I listen. Talk about having a lot of balls in the air; she juggles them all with style, energy and a sense of humor. Here’s one of her new tricks for handling a hectic schedule.
All you do is click the microphone button and speak; the amazing voice recognition in Taskos transcribes your words and adds them to a list. When you are done with your item, you check the box next to it and delete it. Basically, anytime or anywhere you don’t mind speaking out loud, when you come up with a great idea, or remember to stop and buy a 4 watt bulb for your kid’s nightlight later on, for example; Taskos has your back.
You can even remind yourself to call someone, and Taskos allows you to call directly from your listed item when you’re ready.
I have a small digital tape recorder for longer babbles, but I find I never use it. However this easy app is really going to change things when I’m out and about.
After all, where do you get your best ideas? Wherever you are, if you have your phone available, now you’re covered.
If you’ve used this app, do you like it? Do you have any other favorite apps? Please share!
