You know it when you write it. That crazy-perfect (140-characters or less) phrase that begs tweeting. Now there's an easy way to nudge your reader to tweet it. It's as simple as clicking a link.
Are you using ClickToTweet to lift engagement in your email and blog posts? Click to tweet.
ClickToTweet is an app I discovered in an article by Danny Iny of Firepole Marketing. ClickToTweet makes it super easy to not only engage new Twitter followers, but to help your blog readers to share your posts with very little effort.
Hopefully, you are already using a WordPress theme or plugin that allows you to designate keyword-sprinkled headings within your posts. You are formatting your best copywriting into these headings and subheadings. You're also making them stand out with embellishments like bolded or italicized fonts.
(You are doing that aren't you?)
Copywriters and bloggers, capture your catchiest phrases in a stand alone one-sentence paragraph and apply ClickToTweet.
ClickToTweet prompts readers to recognize your big ideas and repeat them to their followers. For you the writer, it's as easy as highlighting your phrase and linking with the Click to Tweet app. Your reader simply clicks on the link and the text is automatically added to their Twitter composition box. Then they tweet it out to all of their followers with another click.
Getting people to share your best blogging moments in the social media sphere has never been easier! ClicktoTweet.
In case you're wondering, I don't make a dime from ClickToTweet. I just think it s nifty way to serve your blog readers better. It makes them look good with original microblog content. It promotes your juiciest short copy nuggets. It's easy. It's free. And…
@Clicktotweet is a powerful copywriting tool. Click to Tweet!
Also, I'm just curious how many people click! Do you have a bogging or tweeting app you use and love?
