- Recently an Israeli couple named their kid “Like” after the ubiquitous Facebook button.
- Microsoft announced Bing’s launch of search results with your friends’ “likes” among the results.
And I’ll bet you a dollar that the Oxford New American Dictionary editors will add to the definition of the “Like” entry next year to account for the idea of sharing something interesting on the Internet.
To keep on top of the trend, we’re working on adding the “Like” button to emails so that our customers can encourage their readers to post a web hosted version of an email campaign to their Facebook page.
That way, if you send out something really smashing, your readers are able to not only “forward to a friend,” but to share the Like, too.
Be watching for this feature at MyTeamConnects very soon. We’ll let you know when it’s ready. (Because loving your neighbor isn’t enough.)
In the meantime, check out My Team Connects on Facebook and go ahead and Like us!
Finally, if you can name the Academy award-winning actress who made the gushing revelation, “I can’t deny that right now you like me, you really LIKE me!” — be the first of your friends to post it in the comments section.
